well i just posted in the sedan forum, but i got into an accident today in SF. it wasn't anything major but i'm bummed and i have a hole in my front bumper.

i need recommendations for reliable, trustworthy body shops in SF or in/around oakland.

i think i'm going to skip the meet tomorrow... the hole in my bumper is too depressing.

they will give you a ride back into the city from their shop, and also to their shop from the city

they are a little more expensive, but their paint work is excellent, i got a great match on my IP. There is less orange peel on their paint than the factory work.

They do give discounts if you don't use insurance.

After my accident I took mine to Jims Autobody in Concord.
The paint match is better than perfect.
Ask for Darrin and tell him Gillian sent you.

That's the most awful feeling. Is there a way to approach the car from the backside only and show up at the drive?

You could get a license plate relocator bracket and cover it up. EVO Style!!!!

WTF premiere quoted me $475 just to cover the front bumper... i might as well go through clear armor for $400

 

I hate that off ramp. The only one worse in that area is the on ramp to the bay bridge on 5th and Bryant st. Some guy bumped into my bumper (my old car) from behind. I got out all pissed off and woke him up. Apparently he was taking naps in between red lights or something.

Anyhow, sorry and hope you get it fixed fast. Maybe showing up for the meet will make you feel better. Try to come out if they don't work on it tomorrow.

yeah i might just come with my G all dirty and busted up anyway... someone's gotta make the other ones look good right?
