From the list? there will be Accords, STI, coupe of S2K, A4, 330...so your friend wont be out of place, heck even I dont have G35. What year is your friend's Mach 1? is the newer one or the 70's?
His is an 03'. It's stock for now, he wants to get exhaust before the run, we will see. How have these runs been in the past, good twisties. Any thing to bring, full tank of gas?

What if one of us needs gas, how does that work out

Woot! We have ourselves a bunch of cars. This should be quite interesting at the you-know-where staging area, Shane . . . You know, where the Red Ferrari flew by us.

Gas up prior to the run and you should be fine getting into Santa Cruz. If gas is required, there are gas stations in SC.

Do we hit any high speeds and are there going to be some ocean side views.
I'm excited this is my first "run". Will there be some good twisties and how many stops are there going to be, at least from Sacramento.

High speeds? ummm...you can go as fast as you would like, but as in the groups? the speed tend to be bit restrained *cough* *cough*.

Ocean view? Nope, not on the way over, but if you are not in hurry? on way back you can take the route along the ocean side, I will be taking that route back.

Gas? if you have full tank to start out with in Sac? you should able to make down to S/C, I think Mike last time had about 1/4 tank left, from Sac to S/C, there is a gas station some what close to the meeting location, let me know on the day of the meet if you would like to gas up before we leave, just dont do it at last minute , once you at meeting location? you will need 5 gallons, 6 to be on the safe side.

Twisties? I would have to say yes, there will be twisty-O-plenty.

Those Mach 1 are pretty quick, my friend have a yellow one with black rally stripes.

Ummmm...What Ferrari? . I didnt even see that black n white, you think I going to see that Ferrari?

Well, there isnt much we could do about the parking situation at vista point , the first three group should be ok, the last two will have to fend for themselfs ...I was thinking when you lead the first group into vista point? you could raido rest of us, info the praking situation, we could either pull into the parking by the first stop sign, if we pass it? we will just have to park where Mike and Chris did last time. We can always regroup by Rite-Aid' parking lot, or simply drive all the way down to staging area in S/C...We need to be flexible about that, and group leader should be prepared for that.

How much of a drive is it out of the way for the ocean side view and is it worth it?

Thanks.

Well, you can take either 17 back which is full of traffic and "boring" or you could take Hwy 1 upto Halfmoon bay and then take 92 back to 880/680 or 80, its probably extra half hour, 45 minuts, its not like you come out this way all that often, so I did suggest you take Hwy1 back.

Here is a pic of the pit stop along the Hwy1 and one video clip of the view...

You asked about condition of the drive? this is what its like...

Are a lot of people going to be driving by themselves or do people have passengers?

And, where are we stopping to eat. What is all included. A place to stop and take pics, the cruise and how long will our "Chill" time be.

This is going to be a drive. Sac to Santa cruz and back. That's like what 6 hours of driving.

Most of us are driving solo, on this type of drives? the passengers tend to get car sick.

In the PM that I send you? there is the addy where we going to have lunch at, with their website so you can go thru their menu and Itinerary for the day, so take couple of minutes and read it ... also on the first post of this thread...

Itineraries

11:00AM -- Leaving for the drive

12:00PM -- Arriving at Vista point for photo session and short break
12:30PM -- Leaving Vista point heading towards staging area

1:30PM -- Arriving at staging area, wait for everyone to caught up
2:00PM -- Leaving staging area heading into town
