Good luck at the state referee. Been there and done that.

My advice is that you take off anything that is not California legal. This is not just a regular smog check. Yes, they'll smog it but they'll also give a very thorough visual inspection. When I went they didn't make a big deal with my exhaust but did give a hard time with my headers and fuel pressure regulator. Everything else I removed and replaced with stock parts. This wasn't on my G.

Long story short, I never passed and after going to court a few times, the judge just made me pay a fee. One reason I haven't mod my G yet.

Where did you get pulled over? Fremont had a motorcycle cop that would only pull over modify cars. Daly City cops would also pull you over for any little thing.

Good luck.

In my opinion, i would recommend removing all aftermarket parts because they are really picky at the state ref. Its a big hassle if you fail, plus expensive of all the fees etc.

Where did you get pulled over? I haven't been pulled over yet for no front plate/tinted windows in Daly City but then again, I haven't really ran into a cop yet.

If you ran into a cop, you're getting more than a ticket. More like a beating LAPD style.

I know that Injen was working on getting they're CAI CARB certified, but I don't know if they ever completed the process. I agree with the others that said to just put your stock intake back in for the smog check. Play it safe.

PS - 20% on the side windows screams "Pull me over!!!" to every cop within a 10 mile radius.

Is the Injen CAI legal. I know the K&N ones and the AEM ones are. I doubt the Injen one is. I would say replace the CAI with the stock air box just to be safe. Your exhaust should have no problem.
