Window Tint Question . . .
Hey, All . . .
It's been almost 2 years since I bought my G. I am finally having window tint applied, today. Because of previous experiences with dark tint and the LE, I have opted to go with 50% tint up front and 35% in the rear.
Question . . . Does sliding the sunroof slider door back all the way lighten the outwardly appearance of the window tint? Likewise, does opening the sunroof afford the said, as well?
I guess I'll the answer to the above in short time. I just thought that I would toss this out there for you folks to consider for yourselves, as well.

Should go with 20% in the back!
Should go with 20% in the back!

That was the same set up that I had on my old accord, 50% front and 35% rear. Never had a tix for it and had the tint on for probably 10 years or more. Though one time, I got pulled over for something lame, the officer noticed the tint on the front but said that it was not a big deal since it wasn't dark.
I have 20% Llumar all the way around. I always drive with the sunroof slider back. I regret 20% though. It makes parking hard. It does look good though.

Yeah if anything i would retint mine to 35% all aournd. I currently have 35% llumar on the back 3 and 50% on the two fronts. Cant really tell i have tints on the front sometimes depending on the surrounding environment. No tickets as of yet but not as great looking.

I have 30's on rear three and 40's on front.
50's on front would make it look even more so not tinted in comparison to the rest and LE might be less enticed to hassle.
Andy, like Shane said about higher quality/more uv-heat retention with lighter % compared with others, Huper Optik is just that type.
That's what I have and love the heat retention it gives, especially with my black interior. Wife has 50%F/30% Rears and loves it as well.
No hassles either with LE.
