you guys know any good place to have a bbq that can hold 30-40 cars and is safe with good roads

i had a good bbq at richmond point, really nice view and houses up there too. and not to far 20-25 mins from sf

lake elizabeth in fremont...the last parking entrance past the old swimming lagoon. can easily hold 100 cars.

how are the locals? is it pretty buzy there on weekends?

on sundays, the last parking lot is seldom used up...there is a huge bbq area right next to the lake by the last parking lot. after 10:30am any bbq area not claimed will be available. also, people here are pretty cool.

I am down for bbq but it all depends and time and place as my car will be going back into the shop for some major work in June(for 1 month) so if it is before then for sure.

it's not cheap to rent the big bbq pit...it's like 900 bucks to rent on sundays if you're a nonresident. i recently rented out a smaller area for about 50 people and it was 180 for nonresident. kris, if you're interested, you want to swing by this sunday to check it out? let me know.
