Hey you Northern G's open to a West Coast BBQ? I tossed the idea around down here but we would want some definate responses and commitments from up there. Thinking about Santa Barbara area. I guess we could start a Feeler thread.

I was throwing around the idea of Nor/So Cal get together towards end of the BBQ, would be good idea to start a poll and see how much of interest are there, we need to find an location would able to accommodate 150 cars, the location would need to be bit north than Santa Barbara area tho, some place like Hurst castle in San Simeon, San Luis obispo or Pismo beach...The we need to decide what we are going to do once we get there, a BBQ? group lunch? group drive or just stay in parking lot...

One of possible place to have Nor/So Cal event is here...It have decent parking space (I assume) and have place to host a banquets...

Banquets rooms...we could rent one of these room for just two hours or 4...check out the gay 90s room with dance floor...

http://www.madonnainn.com/banquets/rates.asp

Possible menus/price...and if we do get a "full" meal service? the room is free for up to three hours! so we could do this for about 17~23 bucks per person.

Funny thing we threw the idea around here I agree a bit farther north would be ok for us. Long trip for all of Us but IMO this would be a big event, Hopefully we would have a lot of support and good sign up on both ends of the state it could be huge. BBQ or Catered or potluck I'm saying let's make the east coast envy the west....This could be sick and attract sponsors up the ying yang..

Hook it up guys. Last year, a few of us Nor Cal G owners cruised down to Hearst Castle, with the local Z group, to meet up with the SoCal Z's. There were no SoCal G's in attendance, which was a big dissapoinment. A formal SoCal/NorCal meet would be an excellent idea.

nor/so cal

Hey guys,
I will throw in my 2 cents. Think about Cambria. It is an awsome little town right by hearst castle. I stayed down there at the Cambria Inn. Great place to stay. Cambria has lots of shopping for the ladies and there are plenty of restraunts there too. It is within 3 min. of the ocean. Would make for a GREAT weekend stay.

My new BBQ looks like an arson crime scene inside. Gotta spend some time tonight clean'n it up. Great event, let's do it again . Next time some body please bring a fire extinguisher
