Ipod'ing your ride.
Ipod'ing your ride.
Hello everyone,
I had my 2005 G35 sedan for almost a month now and I'm loving it! The stock sound system is great but I want to add my Ipod to it. I've researched a little bit and there seems to be several ways to do this. I just hope it'll fit/work for my car. I have non-Bose, non-satellite and non navigation.
What product do you guys recommend for my car?

Oh have I searched. I've read all the pages to that "Factory Ipod Installed" thread plus countless others.
ttrank, do you have one installed? If so, what did you get?
Would the USASPEC PA11-NIS fit my car?

In other words, i'ts one or the other , but you can't have both. If any body knows different, please post. Thanks.
I have no satellite radio now and could care less about it. I have no Navigation either. I just want to hook up an Ipod. I bit the bullet and bought the UsaSpec PA11-NIS from Crutchfield.
The advisor at Crutchfield said it would NOT work. However I read somewhere here that they are wrong. There seems to be misinformation on this topic everywhere!
Oh well, we'll see. I'll let you know. My car again for the record is 2005 sedan..automatic...base model...no Bose..no navigation...and no satellite button. My actual buttons on my head unit are ( in actual order)....
