warranty question

I was just wondering if I lower my car and upgrade the wheel from 18 to 19inch, will that void my warranty. The reasons I ask is because I hit a big pot hole the other day, and I think it damage my front driver side wheel bearing. I was about to take my car as is (lower and upgrade wheel) but I was worry that they just might void my warranty just because my car was lower. So should I put my car back to stock or leave the way it is. Any feed back will be great. Thanks

It should only void the warranty on parts in the same system, in this case your other suspension components (including the wheel bearing).

Should not void warranty, though they may try to play games with you....

If the dealership is mod friendly oakland or pleasanton...u should not have a problem. I had new 19" Foose rims and Eibach springs on the car from the dealership..void no warranty..however, I called some dealerships around the bay and they told me that it would..so, depends what dealership.
