can you please clarify this. thank you!
meet on friday cause we have to roll in our cars and put them in the spot where they want us and come back saturday for the show.. and i think it has to be 1/4 or 1/8 of a tank of gas for fire safety reasons .....
To clarify
Yes you should receive 2 wrist bands with show registration. You get these when checking in on site load in day. They did some weird stuff at HIN LA, only allowing wristbands to be put on by staff, we'll see if they do this again but normally they hand you 2 with your packet.
All HIN shows (this is a nightshift) are pre-day load in. Meaning your car will be left onsite overnight. Some don't like this or expect this so expect to find rides from load in and to the show on the day of the show.
Fuel requirements vary. Sometimes 1/4 tank sometimes 1/8 tank. Expect at the least a 1/4 tank fuel requirement.
Power procedures. All batteries are disconnected once you're parked and set up. This means no radios, monitors, lights etc unless you pay for power. To use the power they sell you need a power supply to convert the 110 to useable 12v.
I'll send Ryan the info to pass around for registration, we'll start registering this weekend since it's only a few weeks away.
Last minute planning and modding is fun!!!! The pressure is kind of cool, not sure if I'm some kind of stress junky or something but getting stuff done in the nick of time feels cool. I also like to see how much pressure I can take without losing my cool. I've seen some modders just lose it when there's too much going on. Sad really, if you can't take the pressure get out of the kitchen.

I won't claim to know them all that well, they've always been nice guys every time I've met with them.
At HIN LA, I think the spot they placed us was good. Near the main stage, not blocked from the open area by any other groups or vendors.
