I was driving home on US-101 N. Right as I was going to get onto CA-87 S, I got rear-ended by a Lexus SUV and pushed into an Acura Integra. The Integra in front of me was slowing down/coming to stop, I hit my brakes to and was either stopped or almost stopped as the Lexus crashed right into me. The driver of the Lexus came up to me, blackberry still in his hand (grrr...) and admitted his fault. The damage is bad: the rear window shattered, the truck smashed and some body panels pushed into the tires. On another note, I didn't even feel any whiplash/neck pain. The car did exactly what it was supposed to.

Any fellow G35drivers spot me when I was on the side of US-101N (right next to CA-87/the airport) waiting for police/tow truck at around 7:45 tonight?

that sucks...glad you're okay though. regardless if the dude admitted it or not, if he rear ended you, he's at fault...no question. however, technically you are at fault for hitting the acura even though the guy behind you pushed you forward. good luck though.

Same thing happened to me before but with my Accord. A Jeep hit me from behind and i ended up hitting the Camry in front. The Jeep ended up paying for the damage on the Camry. I was hit pretty hard but my damages doesn't compare to yours. Best of Luck with the repairs.

Ouch, sorry to hear that man. Last week my wife got into a fender bender around that area also. If the damage is that bad, I'd just hope they total the car or sell it right after it gets repaired. To me a car is just never the same after an accident like that.

I have some scary moments too....like when i look at the rear mirror, some of these cars are really fast right at my tail....so I step on the break couple times to let them know that I am completely stop for the red light....some of them are young kids, playing with each others while dont pay much about what is front of them...and some adults are testing their brake pads or something!!!
Glad that you were alright and hope you would get another beautiful baby soon!!!

It's sounds like you're very lucky. I hate oblivious phone people.
Have you heard anything from the insurance yet?

Just talked to my insurance co. Taking it to a body shop on Monday (that is affiliated with my insurance) to get an estimate.

Uh, not to nit pick, but you can't go from US-101 N/B to SR-87 S/B. The ramp doesn't exist. Most likely you were southbound 101 to s/b 87. That's the direction it backs for evening commute, even though it does back up there a little bit in the a.m.

BTW, did Officer Lemarr take the report?

It was S/B, yeah. Typo on my part.

I don't have the officer's name (just forgot), but I have his ID number. I can send it to you in a private message if you'd like.

It normally isn't too backed up at ~7:30, but this time there was traffic.
