andy thats the guy that help me build my old integra.
I wouldn't say ZCG is slow, they are very busy, when I took my car in for the suspension install, their guys were working non-stop, phones were ringing off the hook, people we coming by to drop off tools and parts. Personally, I didn't mind that they had my car for a few days, as long as it's done right. Rob would call me during the day just to inform me of the progress.

I've already spoken to him about getting a Vortech S/C installed, again he is well informed. This is based about personal assumption, but I think he pushes for S/C mainly because he has a Vortech specialist that works there. Very nice guy, very professional, and down to earth.

I will be getting in touch with them this coming Monday. Thanks for the suggestion, Tu.

When are you planning on your Vortech installation? I would prefer to have Rob perform the work. Are you planning on having the complete kit installed? Any thought on gauges?

IMO, a few days for a suspension install is ridiculous. they should have their scheduling down to get ppl in and out instead of just having vehicles hang around and around.

my experience with them was being told to come down at a certain time to get my exhaust put on, oil changed and wheels rotated. they made me sit and wait for at least an hour in spite of the agreed upon time, then the tech dawdled and chatted me up while doing the work, which i didn't mind, until rob want to charge me by the hour instead of the fixed price we agreed upon up front. he ended up relenting and i gave in a little too and paid a little more than agreed upon, but the experience was frustrating for not very much work/labor.

I had a very similar experience. There is no doubt that they do great work, but the business practices they employ aren't legit.

LOL . . . The confusion of it all.

Edit: Tu, did you have any gauges installed with your Vortech kit? Is G going to be up and running for the Stockton get together?

lolz....No Andy I am not running any gauges with my setup...I was going to get a fp gauge and boost- thats all that was recommend from Vortech.

I should know by the end of this week when it will be done at the body shop, and then off to Zcar to finish it off..... I really dont see why it wont be done by the stockton meet unless ....will leave that one alone for now
