Good to hear it can be fixed but I still feel you should get another new hood.

if the supplier said he'll pay to fix it why doesn't he just have it fixed at some local body shop and give the customer a new one

Maybe you should open up a business and I will buy stuffs from you. We definitely need a reliable and great customer satisfaction from a sponsor/vendor.

Why won't they just exchange it for you? That makes no sense. I just read your other thread. If you're going to leave the CF exposed then it's going to be noticeable that it's been repaired. That blows, I hope this all works out for you.

No, he claimed it was not his fault. He wouldn't sent me a replacement.

After I posted on the other thread, he agreed to pay for the fix if I would get an estimate cost to fix the crack. I did get a quote from William and he refused to pay. I even offered him to split the cost. He refused!!

Andy... file a claim with either Paypal or the CC company. He is refusing to pay for the fix he stated he would pay.

Well, after he refused and ignored my PMs, I did file a complaint with paypal. And I didn't know that Paypal would hold the fund from him. , until he replied to the other thread.

Paypal has closed and cancelled the dispute cause the item was not purchased thru ebay. And Jim has gotten his money back.

Wow...didn't think you had to purchase exclusively with ebay for paypal to back you up. Paypal deals with other merchants/sellers/companies other than ebay.
Hmmm...how'd you put funds into your Paypal account? If with C/C, maybe you could still dispute the amount with your C/C b/c paypal refuses to help you b/c of bad merchant through paypal.

Can't believe he's backing out of his offer. That blows!!
