I am in the tire boat as well. Looking at the Toyo T1R possibly. Anyone have thoughts on those (wear and noise)? For the OEM 19's.

do a search on this forum for the toyos. i've had them since february and so far so good. i also had them on my previous volks for almost a year with no problems. they are a bit noisier than the michelins but our cars are loud anyways; however they were considerably quieter than my yokohama es100.

Yeah, after searched the forum, I found that the noisewise is fine for toyos, and would be a minor factor for me to choose the tires. Still a little bit concern on the wearing. If it's somewhere close to Michelin, I'll go for it. Any inputs?

Thank you Leon, I'll keep that in mind,.

One more question, do you know anyone here did flip "rotation" on their tires. Or maybe not worth it at all. Look at the toyos' pics, seems no chance, it has directions,. Do you know maybe can do on the Michelin ones?

^^^flipping is too much hassle. i just let it run till it wears out. you can have any tire place flip it but they'll charge it as a normal mount and balance. is your car lowered? our cars come with negative camber already from the factory so it the tire tends to feather from the inside.

look at springs? what color are they? this might be a bit subjective but how many fingers can you fit in the wheel gap on both the front and rear?
