so today, after a good drive, nothing to harsh or anything, just alot of freeway driving from HIN to SF. I pop open the hood and touched my popcharger. Its really hot..., back when i first got it, it use to be cold when i touched it. now its not...

I also no longer have the whistling sound when i accelerate. Does that mean its time for a good cleaning?

 

how many miles since installing it?

 

give or take, about 5000 or so? cant recall when i installed it exactly.

 

I clean mine every oil change. I'm running Synth, so I clean my pop chrgr every 5K.

 

its hot because its in your engine bay, and plus you drove for about an hour. Does it look dirty? it doesnt hurt to clean it.

 

yea, i need it cleaned. its filthy. hahah.

 

the dirtier it is, the worst your gas mileage will be as well.
