just took my wheel off and tried to adjust my coilovers.. no idea where the start.

**** coilovers... tiens flex for sale =P

noticed that my driver side, the inner rim is rubbing agianst the coilover shocks... it tore some parts of the teeths off on the shock.. lost like 2 or so... should be ok.. but gotta get that fixxed =X

Johnson,

If you are not familiar with the adjustment of your coilovers, I'd leave it alone before something happens.

lol thats what you get for bringing it to asp lol they dont care if the part isnt installed wrong or can damage something else just as long as they get the buck.

take some pictures of where its touching

ohh well. only learn from experience i guess. with the fear of my coilovers killing me if i drive too rough, i've been getting awesome gas mileage. this tank i got a whooping 225 miles. extra 25

Easy... lift the car up... er, jack the car up, take off the wheels on both sides, and count the threads toward the top. You should have these adjustment wrenches btw...



Use your adjustment wrenches to loosen the seat locks. Then adjust, make sure both sides are even by counting the threads, and tighten the seat locks. Don't torque them too much. Put the wheels on, drop the car, and find a way to measure. Redo as you please.

yeah, i got those, problem is... wtf is the seat locks?

think i'll leave it to a mechanic, or atleast watch them do it the next time.

the seat lock is the bottom ring. the top ring sets the spring preload. once you adjust the top one to the height of your liking, tighten the seat lock to it.
