I was out in Fremont on Saturday night. My uncle invited me to dinner. We ended up going to Hometown Buffet. WOW. The line to get in was hella long. The whole time, people kept talking about the ribs and how they only serve them on weekends. The food was so-so at best.

Anyways the best part was when we were leaving. The manager caught a family putting food in a bag they were hiding. The manager grabbed the bad and kicked them out. The bus boy was telling us that that family goes like twice a week. What a shame.

What a shame!!

One time I went to this Chinese/Japanese buffet in SF (Balboa St), I saw some high school kids (about 4 of them) did the samething. While they were eating, they were putting the foods like: sushi, crabs and lobsters into a plastic bag inside their backpacks.

The restaurant owner caught them and called the police.

OK, I called Hokkaido and they said they need at least ONE week to reserve space in the banquet room (which holds 100 people). But since its a holiday month, and a Friday, she said we should finalize the reservation by Friday 30th.

Shall we go with this??? Lemme know.

As of right now the above place is our choice, unless they are "strong" objections?, thats the place we gonna go with...
