Need Spring Install

I want to get my springs installed on my 07 G coupe. I am going to put on Tein H techs for the Z. Anyone know of any good shops that do good work in the East Bay, I'm looking to spend around $150.

What's up John.. Met you last saturday with Rachel.

Check out Motorsport Techniques in Hayward, they did ours and aligned it. Jack the alignment guy is good. I always go to him.

How much does it typically cost for new spring installs and maybe a lowered ride?

I think I've been posting here for a month now and still haven't done any mods. But this will be good for future reference.

Actually its a reality, IrishSkyline was willing to do it for $150, I quote..

"I can tell you normal labor rates average about $75/hr around the Bay, and typical 2 hour install for just springs. So expect to pay $150. I would worry about quality of install if less than this. Thanks.
Jeff"

Jeff is in LA now so i cant get it done from him

Also Josh "anotheraznguy" was doing spring installs for $100. But nobody can get ahold of him.

there isnt a lot of shops that will do it for 150 in the bay area... when i asked the dealer just for ****s and giggles they wanted 300-400. and average for most other shops i talked to in the bay area was around 200-275

+1

When I went to California Wheels to have them roll my fenders, I asked them how much it would cost for them to install my coilovers and they said that they would have to see the coilovers first, but that it would be in the neighborhood of $300-$400!!!

To the OP, try contacting Speed Element in Fremont. My friend owns the shop and of course he quoted me a lesser price for the installation, but he said they normally charge $170. Only $20 more than what you were looking to pay.

Hey John,
I kinda forgot exactly how much we paid, but either $180 or $200. I got a deal because they did the alignment together, and I always go there. So..

Try contacting this number too,..
Larry's Tires Express
510-581-6020

Look for Sal Mosayer. I'm sure Sal already has forgotten me but they do great work..

Hope this helps.

+1 for Speed Element.

Labor ($160) and Tein 350Z H-Tech springs ($220). They were really relaxed and straight forward. Only neg. is they don't have an alignment rack, so I'll need to do that somewhere else, or I'd go back.

Damn man, you got taken for those prices...I got my Tein S-tech's for $140 shipped, and just did the install myself since I felt that it was way too overpriced.
