most of the stuff you have in your sig can be easily taken off with a socket wrench and a floor jack and probably a helping hand. i dont think its worth taking it to a shop. the hardest one ibelieve would be your headers. when you planning on taking the stuff off, maybe i can lend a hand...esp if you would like to discount some of the mods you have to me

Sounds like someone got a ticket for 27156(b) VC and has a hall pass to the state referee.

If that's the case, then only the MREV2, spacer, Kinetix cats, and Unichip has to go... The headers are CARB legal, and should be fine with the stock cats, and the exhaust along with the rest of his mods have absolutely nothing to do with emissions.

+1
Stillen Sways - Does NOT effect emission and is replacing a factory part. No crime there.
Stillen Rear Strut - Same as above
GT-Spec Braces - Same as above
Richie Strut Bar - Same as above
TEIN Basics - Same as above
JWT Pop Charger - Stick the CARB Sticker on there. If you dont have it just remove and replace it with your stock.. not hard (10mm, philps, flat head and your done)
mRev2 - WILL NOT EFFECT YOUR SMOG! YOU WILL PASS WITH THIS and I DOUBT the ref knows about the mod (solution - put your engine cover on)
Kintix CATs - Have to Go
DCSports Headers - Show your CARB thing to the ref
Stillen True Dual Exhaust - Catalyst BACK exahust does not effect your emission it is simply replacing a factory part with the SAME FUNCTION. As long as your exhaust can pass the sound test you can leave it on!
Uni-Chip - leave that in, take your car to a smog test only center ($25 will get you a smog) if you can pass with it on then just leave it on.
Rims - ehh same as above

- Eric

The 27156(b) comment would ONLY BE in reference to emmisions components. Anyhow, why don't you let him respond to that post.

Wrong my fine chippy friend....This has nothing to do with a ticket and everything to do with oil consumption test. Suspension mods do not need to come off(failed to mention that in original post)...Car consumes about 1.5 quarts every 3750 miles and as soon as infiniti issues a TSB(as nissan has done for the 350z) I will take it in...I don't want to give them any reason to deny my claim for their faulty product....It's amazing how you law enforcement folks are quick to judge someone with no facts placed on the table.....So why don't we give you a "hall pass" to the next Ethics course your dept is offering!!!..
Anyway, this thread started with a simple question that has yet to be answered.....

How about your lack of attention to detail that caused this confusion.

Ethics? What's that? How do you think I got this job?

Anyhow, i'm just giving you a bad time. No harm meant. That sucks though that you have to take all those parts off. I hate dealerships.
