Test only smog shop?
well i sold my civic :P but problem is i need to get it smogged at a test only and im not sure if the guy i take it to is open tomorrow, anyone know any other shops that will "pass" my car? PM me the location thanks

Why don't you think it will pass?
The only thing that would keep me from passing was my after market headers. The lack of a heat shield keeps the hydrocarbons from burning off. Everything else would be within the tolerances.
The visual inspection is a whole other matter though.

Frog, you will have to take that car to a state referee. You must have a BAR sticker from the referee certifying the motor swap. You must have all the required smog equipment from the donor motor.

24007(b)(2) VC states it is the sellers responsibility to provide a valid smog certificate. Unless you are selling it to an immediate family member, then you don't.

thats what i did when i had to smog the sc300... damn turbo not bieng carb legal.
