Should I get an iPhone? Please chime in.

I know alot of you guys have iPhones so I would love opinions.

I have had Razr's since before they were available in the US. Its a decent phone and I have not had complaints but my latest one is starting to break down. It is time for a new phone, but there is nothing I really like other than the iPhone.

Are you guys happy with yours? What don't you like about them? Which plan do you have?

Knowing Apple, I am sure there is a new model coming out soon, but does anyone have any info at all on future models from Apple? Thanks.

I am having a blast with my new iPhone 1.1.2. There are plenty of other great phones out there. Be sure that the iPhone is the right platform for you.

Andy, didn't you mention something about a trade-in on your iPhone the other night?

i like my blackberry pearl.. i think i can type a lot faster than on iphone.. since my fingers always seem to hit another button.. and it receives my email directly instantly instead of checking every few minutes.. also i can set up yahoo email w/o paying for the premium yearly fee.. and aim is a plus for me.. so BB FTW

I read something to that fact on one of the iPhone boards. It has to do with upgrading from the current iPhone to a future one. I am not totally clear on that. So, don't quote me on it.

The iPhone, for what it is and has to offer, is the perfect fit for me. It may not meet everyones' needs or expectations . . . As it is with all things.

If and when a newer model comes out, I'll hand this one down and get the newer one. There's always going to be a newer and better model out there.

i'm here i'm here V!

i haven't had any big problems with the iphone
the only thing is how it freezes. usually when it freezes and i'm not able to turn it off, i just plug it into my computer. for me, it means i gotta plug it in and update to a newer software. then the freezing will stop, so i guess that fixes the bugs.

i love that you have weather and mapquest. i don't have navi so i live by the mapquest. that would be alot better if they came out with gps.

typing on it was HARD in the beginning, but now i feel pro!

when they said it was undentable and un scratchable for the back metalish part. wrong, i have a dent near my camera. OHHH! the camera quality is REALLY GOOD.

i just want them to have games and aim on it.

annnnddd i get to use the ipod feature on it at the gym so i can still have the phone on me instead of carrying my ipod and my phone. so it's a 2in1!

oh and i like the internet browsing on it, to me, i'd rather be able to click on links and buttons with my finger rather than scrolling with a ball or using an arrow like other phones.

i already had at&t/cingular to begin with so i just continued with my existing plan and added 30$ for the data and 1500 text.

I love my Iphone, but at these point I would way till may or june when G3 Iphone is due. although most of the time I use the internet on the iphone i use it on a hotel with wifi. and in Feb, third party software will be available so I would wait for the 2nd gen Iphone to have more memory space.

typing is not really a big issue, and since the software is a derivative of OSX Leopard the future is infinite. so wait and get the Iphone with lots of GIGS. cause I will.

I say don't get it yet. Wait until the G3 version comes out this coming year. Edge is way too slow for surfing.

If you do get it, it's great AFTER you jailbreak it. That's when the true potential of the device can be seen. Version 1.1.3 is coming out with some cool new features if you don't want to jailbreak it.
