brand new, unlocked AT&T 8525 aka HTC TyTyn for sale

hey guys, i have the AT&T 8525 aka HTC TyTyn unlocked, NIB for sale for $300. many people on this forum are familiar with the phone, but here's a brief run down:

  • Tri-band UMTS/HSDPA; Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE for global use
  • Microsoft® Windows Mobile™ 6.0 Professional with Messaging and Security Feature Pack
  • Mobile Instant Messaging - Yahoo!® Messenger, AOL® Instant Messenger, & Windows Live ™ Messenger (available via MEdia Net download)
  • 128MB ROM / 64MB SDRAM
  • Samsung 400MHz Processor
  • Sliding QWERTY keyboard
  • 2.8" QVGA 320x240 64K Color LCD Touch Screen
  • Push to Talk capable
  • Bluetooth v2.0
  • Integrated WiFi (802.11b/g)
  • AT&T Mall
  • AT&T Music
  • Cellular Video
  • Micro SD expansion slot for greater storage and expansion
  • 2.0 mega-pixel camera with built-in flash and video capability
this is a great phone, i use one myself. if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. would rather sell this within the G community than ebay it. many here on the boards can vouch for me

thanks!

That's what I have, I like it. The only thing I would do different is get rid of the key board, I never use it.

But that's just me, younger folks are better at using those maddeningly small keys.

Great phone! I have the 8925 and I love it. If it weren't available, the 8525 would definitely be in my hands!

you do NOT need an internet plan as kris mentioned. it's great if you just plan to text and do a lot of multimedia stuff that you load on the phone from your computer or through the memory card slot.

my favorite part about this phone is that with activesync, you can keep your email, contacts and calendar all in sync with multiple computers for free. so useful

I have the "unlimited" plan and I get my corporate and personal email on it. The best part is I whip out my USB cable and hook up my computer and when I am in a "3G" area I get a 1/2 Meg/sec download speed.

Oh and it only adds $30 a month.

for the tilt, you have to sign a 2 yr contract to get this price. for this phone, no contract, any GSM carrier in the world and the only real difference is GPS.
