A quick check of the Aston Martin site and a few other places seems to indicate that there's no more Vanquish either, that it's been replaced with the DBS. Please correct me if I'm mistaken, or if the Vanquish is known as the DBS Vanquish, in which case ignore this post.

it didn't really make sense if the OP was referring to the vanquish. if he could really afford that car, he probably would not need to sell his current cars

I dont think vodkarocket was at the Black Angus meet..cause I would have been sitting next to him...I think Tu and I were at the horsepower table. The only thing not on my profile is the 4.15L Stroke Brain Crower pkg. Hotchkis sways, Stillen Strut Brace..Dyno and tuned to the likes of 402hp to the rear..hmm. Fiance wants that so if have to get used then that is what I got to do...I will keep reading as post come..it is not a for sure thing I just wanted to get an idea. j/k...vodka i have to update my profile been real lazy with that.

a sweet car no doubt, but Aston's are historically very unreliable, so you might be paying for something that is always in the shop. Also need to factor in the other costs, but I am going to guess insurance alone would be close to $10K a year or more. my guess is that if you have to sell your other two cars to afford this one in reality you probably can't afford it unless you are paying only cash, I wonder how many Aston's are financed? Probably not many.

Hmmmm . . . Trading in a couple of cars, plus cash for a different car, for your future wife? Do you two own a home together, as well? Regardless, it sounds like a terrible idea. Any extra cash, which the two of you may have, should be invested for your future.

Hey Cole, most of us (if not all) dont really have this kind experince before, its all about what "you" want, and what is best suited for you and your fiance, if you have any question regarding AM? head over to 6speedonline, they can help you answering any questions you might have, they have "fun" run and meets too, not saying you wont be welcome to G's meet.

Glad to hear you're keeping the G, Cole.

Wise decision.
