I too was dissapointed because I lucked into going to a sneak preview, so I hadn't talked to anybody who had seen it. I thought it was going to be a major monster movie. It was...but after seeing it, this movie was much more about human survival and not the monster at all. If I would have went into it with that feeling, I think I would have really liked it.

And +1 on going in the theatre. Its one of those movies that the big screen and sound absolutely make the experience.

I loved it. The shaky cam didn't bother me at all and I loved how the movie left you with more questions than answers.

yeah, some folks online are saying the sequel will be shot from the perspective of the other guy who was filming on the Brooklyn bridge...there was a moment where he and Hud were filming eachother.

personally, i think a sequel would just mess the whole thing up though...

if you are okay with First Person Shooters, the movie should affect you much... i'm still looking to seeing it at the theater...

First person shooter games usually make my eyes feel like they're going to fall out of my head but I had no problems whatsoever with Cloverfield.
