I talked to Jose just now and here are the details.

As Josh said, $75 per wheel (dealer pricing as Jose likes to call it).
This would be for curb rash on "painted" wheels. Repair includes, sanding, paint, clear coat. Bent and polished rim repair is a different price (more). Anodized and chrome, no can do. Have to go to a chrome shop.

Here's were it gets tricky. The wheels have to be given to him OFF the car so it would be easier and so he would honor that price. More details...I would have to come with you so he can assure that he is dealing with the same person/group for the discount.

I'd be willing to meet up with those who need the repair if we did it as a group thing. I can't commit to showing up with each person when they have time.

So, to me, it doesn't sound too promising. I did what I could and sorry I couldn't do more. If you have suggestions, post them up

So I should have to strip all 4 rims I guess. Do they do that at this place also or do I need to take it elsewhere?

I'm not 100% sure but I think it might be with the tires on. Call him to be sure....ask for dealer pricing

Paul, I asked him about anodized wheels he said he doesnt do it. Call him. He may opted to do the polish instead.

wheel techniques.

yeah you got to do all 4. but trust me after u strip and polish it its a bietch to keep clean. you wil get all these lil rust spots after u wash or car or it rains and its bietch to clean. or u can always polish and do a clear coat over it but it wont be as shiny.

I just had an amazing experience with Wheels America. They used to be in Union City, but they recently moved to a bigger warehouse in Hayward.

24 hour turnaround, and the quality of work is impeccable. They can even pick up/drop off your wheels...

Thanks for following up on this Chris. I think I'm going to do my own thing, it's getting too complicated.

No problem Gillian.

To be honest, Jose doesn't sound very interested in doing a group discount thing. I think he just throws around the "dealer pricing" phrase to make everyone feel like they are getting a deal. He does do good work though..I can vouch for that as he's polished my iFored twice and fixed two bends in two of them already. Good luck

Nope, Livermore. If I did, I would have gone and seen him instead of call. I just didnt have the time to get out there though I doubt it would have made a difference.
