Injen cai vs JWT Popcharger?

Hey folks, any suggestions on which one i should choose. Just wanted some personal input... and also if you guys had any local hookups on these? Right now im looking at the Injen cai(black) for $200 shipped. Let me know if thats a good deal or if you have a better one?

I remember hearing something about CAI's causing some G's to stall out.

However, whether you go with a CAI or a Z-tube/Pop Charger, you are gonna be mainly doing it for sound.

I am happy with my Z-tube/Pop Charger. I seem to have lost slight low end power, but I am happy with the sound and upper range power.

If you must, I would opt for the Popcharger . . . Or as Danny has mentioned, go with the short ram set-up on the Injen. Members have reported getting water into their long ram Injen set-ups, which lead to potential engine problems. Obviously, you must drive your G through a high amount of standing water . . . But to avoid this situation, go short.

I had the JWT popcharger. I didn't notice any performance gains but it fit well and looked nice. =)

i wouldnt go with any intakes on our cars, a simple high flow dry filter will do the job, and if u want noise get a z tube. but if ur dead set on a intake i would do the jwt popcharger just cause it has the heat shield. but the injen is pretty lol

I've had Both. Actually the one I like best Now is the FUJITA short ram intake. You have to see which Mass airflow sensor you have there's a round one and a rectangle one.

That was if the Air is flowing directly into the filter and piping. It causes the mass airflow sensor to freak out....

Back to oem airbox and on it's way, an Amsoil EA filter.
+1 . . . swapped back to the OEM air box and the Amsoil drop-in filter, last year. I am glad that I had saved everything. The low end torque is much improved versus the Stillen and the Popcharger, in my own personal experience.

i've just ordered a new AMSOIL EAA filter to replace my old one (old ones been thru a thorough vacuum and drafting brush cleaning once already)... it's been a little over a year since then so i'd figure just get a new one.
