As a reminder:

2-way radios are an excellent tool. They allow group leaders to communicate with others in their respective groups. Group leaders can advise of directions, warning of obstacles ahead, etc. If you have a 2-way radio handy, be sure to bring it along for the drive.

Andy, a buddy of mine wants to come along in his WRX. He was not planning on lunch though, if we can add him to the list. His name is Kevin and has a super blue WRX, you can see it from a mile away.

Mike will you be able to meet our group in time before we leave? Would be nice to go down together but looking at your departure time it looks like you will not have enough time if you leave at 7:30, only gives you half hour to get to Fairfield....usually takes me 40 mins.

Let me know.

Shane, I know you want to get everyone there before that, but this is a long drive and I am not sure most of the Sac crew will get up much earlier on a weekend. And a favor to ask of the Fairfield guys, to push back the departure time by 15 mins so we can caravan together as one group.

Cutting it kinda close imo. I'd say 8am departure at the latest from Fairfield. 7:45 better. Sorry you guys are so far away. Understand you're ~45 to an hour from Fairfield.
So to make it work? either Sac group leaves 30 mins early or Fairfield group leave 30 mins late, but either group dont wanna do.

Fair warning, better get your lunch orders in before tomorrow!!!

Lunch orders WILL NOT be taken in Foster City, Shannon and I will be too busy. All lunch orders will be placed with the restaurant prior to our arrival into Santa Cruz.

Well it they leave around 7:15, then they should make it in time for our departure of 8AM. If they leave 7:30 then we will just miss them by 10-15 minutes.

Shane...I already asked on Lunch thread if we would get same deal as Sac arriving late at staging area.
It's not a problem and approved for Sac to show late per that thread, due to the distance they're traveling.

Same request was denied for FF, as I mentioned Sac requesting us to wait for them.
Lunch coordinators wants FF at staging on time, so we're leaving at our posted departure time 8am sharp.
Tried to make it work waiting for Sac beyond 8am...it's a no go.
If Sac gets to FF before 8, then we all can roll together at 8.

I mentioned on caravan thread the situation and if their eta was after 8, not to stop b/c we'll already be on the road.
