I dont know much about the point service thing but you can always ask them for the maintaince checklist....it's like a one page thing with all the minor and major service for your car. On it, they would tell you how much it would cost for this marjor service which include....etc..., for brake parts, you could let dealer to cover the parts replacement before 36K miles; after that, you would have to pay out of your pocket. You are looking around at least $150 and above after 20K miles on your car...
I had like 30K miles on my first year in 2004, yup, ouch :-),

Normally, they dont tell you everything about the part replacement under the warranty but if you know and ask them, they would do it. As I could remember, i changed my brake pad/rotors around 30K miles, the dealer cover the parts (my former service manager in Sacramento didn't charge me labor to replace these parts). You should ask them about the parts replacement and the labor cost extra up front. It would help your deal if they see you are such a friendly guy! i would be a friendly guy if it help me to save couple hundred dollars!....
