Thanks "E", he told me that at "SEARS" autoshop, they charged $99 for the flush transmission..but I dont trust SEARS either my brother to work on our cars. We had some bad experiences with them so they are our black list....

ps. $120 is that the same for the 04 G35 too? haha

Yea the import vehicles we use a different fluid. Yea your g is the se price if want it done too. It's a flush with a shift additive thing. Normally the import service is like 150. But yea 120 for u. Let me know when u need it done.

if I get the parts for the transmission fluid, how much would charge for service only? I done once before on my car but I wasn't too happy with the result....haha

we dont use outside trans fluids...

not happy with results? what did they do wrong? its only a nissan...not too difficult to do the job right.

with a transmission flush no one can really "tell" a difference....so what type of result would have gotten you happy?

hi "E", I always get parts from Nissan, in this case "Nissan Matic J ATF". The G35's maintance manual is strictly note to use the Nissan J ATF only, what's kind of your trans fluid that you would use?

The last time I did more like drained out the transmission fluid and filled up with the new juice; but the color didn't really look clear, still dark. I guess the pressure flush would be better to push these old juice out...
yeah, you are right, with a tranmission alone can't tell difference but it would help my engine last a bit longer after five years abused by me! :-)

we use versatrans ATF from Kendall. as long as you change the fluid out and it has the additives in it, then it should be fine. every vehicle out there stricly calls for OEM fluid, filters, brakes, and whatnot though...if u look under the hood of a mercedes it would say Mobil 1 only but if you use the same weight as it calls for the engine wouldnt be able to tell the difference. but our fluid is compatible for Nissans http://www.76olja.nu/varudeklaration...tribranded.pdf
it really all depends on if you like paying for OE stuff or going with the OE equivilent. I for the other hand prefer to not go OE if i dont need to.

as for as color goes...it really depends on how often u maintain it, if you dont keep up on 30k flushes on it then u probably wont be able to get it back to the color it was originally.
