We painted the entire inside of the house, pulled out the hard wood flooring and put in tile and we put in new carpet. Lots of work, but it looks pretty nice now!!

yeah, I could see why. I know some people removed their carpet to install hard wood flooring. Personally, I would like ceremic tile with some soft rugs; easy to clean. I have carpet now but I wont able to up side down the house decorate all by myself.
Good job Jeremy!! hope you both like it for a very long time!!

yeah, that was how much i paid for mine too...I know what you mean by the County to let us pick the traffic school (online)...yeah yeah, they charge us $60 for someone to put our name in the computer.

I didn't go to the court when I got my ticket. I think you are not going to fight your ticket but rather to reduce the amount ($290). You still have to go traffic school (online if this is your first time for a long time) to avoid to show it on your DMV record. I asked my friend who went to the court, you have to go there before 8am because the line is long but shorter at the end of the week. You need to bring that letter and your dmv license, stand in line until you reach one of these court window, you tell them that you would like to ask for reduce the penalty amount. If you record is clean, the teller will tell you to wait at some room for the judge. Right after 9am, the court door is close. Don’t park your car at the meter because you would have to run back and forth. When you see the judge, answer nicely, when he aks if you are guilty, you would likely to say “yes”; then he would asks you what was happened; be sincerely. Don’t wear any fancy jewels or watches, dress in jean and shirt like an average joe. The judge may asks you if you can pay the fee and going traffic school now, you can say yes to get it done…don’t be smarty with the judge. With this process, you can get 30% or 40% of your fee.

No, you wont get a point reduction because you are not fight the ticket or say “NO” when he asks you “guilty or not”. Just simply ask to reduce the amount. If you want to pick a fight the ticket, the cop will get involves and if you lost, you will have to pay what before plus something extra. Unless you have a really good case, I would say go and ask for reduce instead.
Goodluck,
