We're going with another couple, the guys are going hunting for 7 days and Connie and I are going on a photographic safari. A guide will take us all over to take pictures of the wildlife for a few hours during the day while the guys hunt. Then we will go with them for an evening hunt, we can take pictures then also. Apparently the evenings are spectacular there and other forms of wildlife come out.

The other 7 days we are going to Kruger National Park, and other areas where we will take ATV tours and Zip Line tours. Of course we will sneak a little shopping in where available.

We will be there during the World Cup finals and tried to get tickets, $3,800 was the cheapest I found I'm not that big of a soccer fan to pay that. I will still get a t-shirt though. Lol.

I got a Cannon T2i and then Mike got me a nice 70-300 lens, don't plan on getting too close to some of those animals. Connie has been into photography since college so she will help me out when needed. I really like the camera so far, for someone like me it's got just enough options without completely confusing me. It's a once in a lifetime trip and I'm sure I will have hundreds of pictures to share when I get back.

^^^ WOW that sure does sound like an amazing trip!!! Cant wait to see some pics! That doesnt suprise me on how much the tickets would be, but in comparison with our sports that is probably pretty cheap for a final. But would you really want to pay that much to sit next to one of those horn blowers LoL. I hope you have a blast, be safe and have FUN
