hi guys,
My gas gauge was acting up, full tank yesterday but today, the empty warning ilght is on. I heard that we can get the sensor clean up/replace by access to the tank from the rear seat!!

Do anyone have this fuel level problem and how you fix it....beside going to the dealer!!!

i running with bridgestone re760 from ernest's shop. i got 20k miles and still got little bit of tread left.

 

Jeremy mostly got around 25+K on his tires, you got about 20+K miles and I got around 17+K, wow....something wrong with my tires or my car!!! did you guys change these tires at the tread bar? or when the tread bar is almost gone...?? Normally, I change my tires at the tread bar but maybe I could put at leat a thousand miles on these tread..

 

I guess i just drive like a grandma compared to you

 

i remember reading about our tire wearing issue long time ago. coupes comes from the factory with off alignment or something that effects tire wear. thats why our tires doesn't last UNLESS u have a complete suspension like JEREMY!!! i think thats y jeremy's tires last a lot longer than any of our tires.

 

every tire is different depending on treadwear, some are more gear towards performance like a summer tire and some are more of an all season tire. i think jeremy and me both have all season tires on ours those usually have a much better treadwear on them.

dans re760s is a summer tire which is performance tire geared and not much on all season driving. those are better as far as handling but mileage wise they dont last that long.

but to a average driving going from home and back, really doubt we can tell much of a difference between a summer or all season tire as long as its a name brand. I had a guy come in last month with a G that looked identical to my car lol wanting a set of Bridgestone 050...he was trying to tell me how good his G was and how i dont know how it handles...until i brought him out to the parking lot to show him my car LOL. I convinced him to move from a 050 to a RE960 and i told him if he doesnt like how they feel, then call me. He never did call me back so im guessing he likes them.

also one way to tell on tires is that if the tire does not have a limited mileage warranty then most of the time they last under 30k. remember when you replace them is based on your perspective, time for replacement is different in everybodys eyes. I have people who come in with steel showing and when i ask them to replace they say "can i make it till 6 months?"
