tons of review but wanna know from norcal
is this only for manuals or can it be installed on automatics as well? is this for coupes? sedans? both? does the year of the car matter - as in, would my '06 AT sedan benefit or is it only beneficial for previous versions?

I've had the MREV2 and 5/16 spacer on my ride for about a year now and absolutely love it. The loss at low rpm's is very minimal, can't even feel it. Can feel a big difference in the mid rpm range starting at about 4k rpm. Best bang for your buck imho. You won't be disappointed.
Without reading through all of the previous posts . . . .
Tony designed the plenum spacer with the '03 to '05 non rev-up engines in mind. And as such, the plenum spacer only benefits the non rev-up engines. Motordyne dynos and member independent dynos alike have proven gains time and time again.
The rev-up engine model G's are the VQ models starting in '05, which came equipped with a 6MT.
Starting in '05, members, whom installed the plenum spacer in rev-up models realized no beneficial gains in hp and tq. This puzzled many members and Tony, to say the least.
After further evaluation and testing, Tony realized that the rev-up engines incorporated a lower plenum/collector of a different configuration. Thus, he came up with the original MREV for the rev-up engines.
The MREV is a lower plenum/collector from the non rev-up engine. The MREV combined with a plenum spacer afforded excellent gains, as documented by the early testers of the said combo. At the same time, Tony experimented with a slightly modified version of the same and developed the MREV+ combo.
Currently, Tony offers the MREV 2 for the rev-up engine, which is a more highly modified lower plenum/collector. The MREV 2 paired with a plenum spacer is an excellent mod for the dollar.

The spacer is the main part of the mod. You WILL feel the difference. It's not like an exhaust or air filter where you only think you feel it. I think it's the best "bang for the buck" mod you can do for this car.
