Wth, I bet they are cracking down harder on riders for profit now. They need bikes to catch bikes though, there is no way a cruiser is going to catch a modern day sportbike.
Back when I used to ride up to 4 corners they would wait near the freeway off ramps just to catch people as they were exiting the freeway to go into the mountains...

All of you are way off as to what is going on in this picture. Somebody must have dropped a doughnut. Or in these guys case, a cup of Starbuck's. In reality, it's called a motor in-service training day. These are all the motors from an area office. They spend all day (ok, 4 hours) practicing their skills and being evaluated by Sergeant's. They probably don't even have their ticket books with them. But be forewarned, no front plate is the only ticket most of these slugs write. That way they never have to worry about going to court on any ticket. You smell what I'm stepping in? Don't mind me. Just venting my personal opinion about motors (not all of them are worthless).

Thanks for the input.. as always right on point. If something like that was to happen on Sat... there would be quite a few people cleaning out there shorts along side the road.

One of these days I'll be there. I work weekends for the most part. If you come over SR-17, I can join the run to the Summit. If you don't mind a Crown Vic mixed in. Just remember the speed limit is 50 on "the hill."
