Please Help -- Infiniti HIT!

i can hardly believe my luck, i just bought my infiniti 3 months ago. it was used, but looked brand new, only 15,000 mi and was immaculate inside and out.

stupid idiot woman (to be fair, it could have been a stupid idiot man) backs into me in a parking lot and damages the rear bumper and right side quarter panel. only minor damage is done to her stupid scion.

to her credit, she is apologetic and assumes responsibility, as it was clearly her fault.

so any good body shop recommendations in the peninsula or south bay area? the only shop listed on the sticky was SCD in santa clara -- anyone have good experiences there? i obviously want the car to look just like it was before it was hit. i hope they just replace the two panels rather than pull it out and re-paint, b/c i'm worried about the paint matching.

so this may sound like sour grapes but it just happened earlier today and maybe i'll mellow out tomorrow...but i feel slighted even tho her insurance is paying for the repairs and car rental. i just feel that i'm losing the most out of her negligence: my time taking it for an estimate, my loss of work time today, having to take it in to the body shop for the repair, and worst of all, my loss in re-sale value of the car, as now it will show up on the carfax and i'm sure i'll be low balled b/c of it. if things don't go well with the repair, i want to ask her for some kind of compensation for all of this. am i just being an a-hole?

perhaps i should just let it go, after all it's just money. it's just that this car is the nicest thing i've ever owned and i worked hard to buy it.

i'd very much appreciate your input. thx in advance...

Unfortunately there's not much else you can do. Sucks man, I know.
I had mine for less than 30 days, had about 200 miles on it when a guard accidentally raised a hydraulic ramp while i was going over it.

thx for suggestions

just wanted to say thx for all your input.

i'll keep you posted on what happens.

also, any ideas on where to get an ipod integrative system installed here in the peninsula or close by? i looked at all the threads and they look DIY. i don't have a lot of experience tearing apart the console so am a bit worried about that...or if one of you wants to help me out, i'd be willing to pay you whatever the going rate is.

hey im a recent victim too. make sure the body shop doesnt submit SR19(?) forms. your title should be clean as its only minor cosmetic damage. and look on the bright side, the person who hit you didnt just take off...
