Aaahh, he's just jealous 'cause you have a girl next to you and he doesn't.... sort of like guys who drive big trucks, some need to compensate for their little parts.

i had to pass one (silver g37) on the right on I-80 just south of the carquinez bridge heading towards sf this past weekend... he was hogging the fast lane (diamond lane) barely going over 60 with about 3 other cars on his tail.. blew past him just doing 75.... if you got the wheels to go fast, use them... otherwise scoot over and let others go by... got cut off by another guy driving a red g37 while he was chatting away on the phone despite the car ahead of him in his lane was still half a mile away....

Not to thread jack, but, coming home from Sunday's BBQ in Walnut Creek on 680 South, some Z with a fart can exhaust did a ricer fly by on me. He was in the commuter lane, I was in the next lane over. He pulls up next to me, checks out the G, gradually pulls ahead, THEN punches it! At first I was, like, WTF??? , but then I had to bust up laughing! The only thing missing was for him to throw on his emergency flashers to declare victory!

Then on 87 South, some young punk in a late 90's/early 2000's Trans-Am (surprise surprise - they're almost synonymous, really) is pacing me in the next lane over, lurching forward, dropping back over and over again, just trying to bait me into a race. I ignored him. When a car in front of him caused him to fall behind, he quickly changed lanes and then veered back into his original lane to try 2 more times to get me to bite. I just keep on ignorning him. He ended up speeding off and taking the on-ramp to 85 North.

Idiots. Both of them. But I appreciated the laugh, nonetheless.

If it was Danica Patrick in the next car over, believe me, I'd be chasing her down!

It really does not matter what cars the idiots are driving . . . An idiot is an idiot the same. What everyone is experiencing is simple human nature.

Well, certain types of people are attracted to certain types of cars. Case in point, do you know anyone remotely cool who owns an Aztek? In that same vein, how many docile old women do you know who drive CRX's with fart-can exhausts?

What does personal car preferences have to do with people driving like idiots?

Younger, less responsible/more aggressive people may prefer certain types of cars. I don't think anyone would argue that while personalities of the owner of any car-type vary, the average person driving a G35/37 is more aggressive than the average person driving a Corolla, for example.
