ARC/NCRC Thunderhill Events
From an email I received:
Dear Drivers,
We've opened up two nice Thunderhill events for registration.
On June 21-22 we're having a mixed ARC Race and NCRC Open Track weekend. This should be a big event, sign up a bit early for this one. There will be the usual complement of instructed to open passing groups, as well as the full ARC race group. The races for this weekend will be dedicated to Phil Crandall, Thunderhill's regular early-morning gate worker who greeted us for years as we rolled in. He passed away recently and will be sorely missed.
Then on July 18th, we have a Friday single-day event. Open tracking will be the order of the day, though we'll also have an exhibition race (a "fun race" with no season points) for the racers in the crowd. You do need full race certification and tech for the exhibition races.

New Member Discount

Many of you have taken advantage of our 33% discount for new NCRC members. We're changing this program slightly. As of this point the discount is a flat $100 off the track event, for a driver new to NCRC. This will also apply to Laguna Seca events, which were excluded in the past. You will still get the $50 credit as well, for referring these new members to us.
Come on out and have some fun!
Early-bird price at Thunderhill is $270/day for open track, $220/day for racing. Details, registration, etc, are all available at http://www.ncracing.org/events.html for open track and http://www.amracing.org/events.html for racing.
