Those f*ckers were unbelievably fast... I remember they used those to patrol highway 9, and they would creep up behind you and dissapear in front of you like nothing...

Yea, I remember those Mustangs, they used to be the sh*t. They had the all white ones too that were pretty stealthy.

The senior guys at work still revel about that car. Couple of years ago we had two of the white Camaros. I never drove one cause I don't fit in it. The doors were huge and stuck way out into traffic, and the were really uncomfortable. Fast? Very. But even to this day, the guys that were on when the Mustangs were in service that have driven both said the Mustang was still a better car. The hard part was being in a pursuit, shifting, working the radio, the lights, etc. You needed 3 hands to drive that car.

Yea, but you have to remember the era. The horsepower wars were still in the distant future and every other car on the road wasn't zooming around on 300hp.

the chp mustang in the 90s were no slouches.
