team scp?

anyone heard of team scp? they are offering some discount on parts if I"m willing to put it as a sponsored car. just wanting to get some information about this sponsorship. THX!

i have looked at their website and talked to one of the guys. does it really sound like a scam? they offer some great deals which i think its 'too great' to be true.

that means the offer is great but hard to believe that actually exist. just like someone is willing to give you $50K for your G. Isn't it tempting but can you believe someone would actually do that? coz that could be a fake cashier check just for example.

According to many people on different forums, they say you pay a fee of about $95, and then you dont receive any big discounts or anything. Google and do some research, it isnt hard...

how did you come in contact with them? what sort of discounts? what are the sponsor reqs? most sponsors require you to go to events usually a minimum of 3...

the big boy sponsors go as far as putting a lien on your vehicle to ensure you do it =D

anyone actually seen team scp's cars in car shows or on the road?

now they are asking for $135 for the membership fee, and they claim most sponsors offer 50% off on their parts. so great to hear some great info. from you guys!

these pay-for-sponsorship membership clubs have been around forvever. usually the parts available are not great and the discount is usually not great. i remember reading about clubs like this back in 2000 when I was on IS300.net
