Ok so I weighed the car with me in it at 3592lbs, the drive train loss was a guesstimate from what I have gathered from the shop at 18%.

Took it for a quick spin and peak hp which I gather is to the wheels (from the website) came out to 518hp which is 2hp off what I dynoed a few weeks back.

Have not done the 1/4 mile yet as I need to go to a closed circuit Also need better tires.

Sounds like you're getting very accurate readings. I'd love to see how close your 1/4 mile times are.

No problem, Leon.

This app shouldn't be using GPS (3G wouldn't matter either) so it should work just fine on the Touch.

I wanna try this but I still have my G-Tech sitting right here. What I need is a nice, safe place to do runs...like a track.

I have never done 1/4 miles in my car so there will be nothing to compare to but it seems a bunch of my friends want to try it on theirs who have 1/4 miles times so lets see how accurate it is.

If it comes out close then I will try some 1/4 mile runs myself.

urban, where do you put the iphone while doing the test? Do you have a sturdy mount for it? Sounds very good and your HP is a tad higher than regular G35

It should be since he's not driving a regular G35.

Thanks for the info. At 600rwhp hopefully the accelerometer in the iPhone can still keep up
