I can help to fix up an existing logo or help to make a new logo... The one right now is ok but the bridge is a lil messed up.. Cant tell now becuase the letters are covering it up, but the cables running from the 2 towers are actually crossing over.. Who wants to take another go at it and have a new contest? Im up for either way and am always here to assist. BTW.. When is the next event. I got my PS2 and am waiting to install it in the G.. Cant wait.

Here's a very small graphic gif for your consideration. It is about as small as the Crystal Guard window label. Colors could be added, but reproduction costs go up when you add colors. Comments?

LONG POST...read only if you are interested in helping

After about a week, not a single person submitted an idea. I created my own logo, and only then did people submit ideas.

I was then asked to extend the deadline to allow for more submissions since there were so few to choose from. I gave it another two weeks after that and also announced the contest at our last G35 meet. The contest was posted on March 4th. On March 24th, the online logo contest ended.

Having had a horrible experience with getting our club name voted on, we decided to allow the "Committee" to select the logo. By the way, the committee is a group of G owners who decided they wanted to play an active role in the club. We met at the beginning of the year (01/30/04).

For the few people who voted, the consensus was to go with the above design. I took liberty in coloring the logo. I am a newbie at Photoshop, but I did what I could.

Please PM me your email address and I will send you the Photoshop file to play with. Please PM me as soon as possible. We want this logo done and over with. If I don't get your PM, then there is nothing more I can do. We would like your final submissions by <font color=red>Friday, May 21st.</font color=red>

Like Gfunk808 says, this logo is the one we have selected. We can go on forever thinking of logos, but one has already been voted on. Let's focus on this one.

I am open to suggestions, but we cannot start from scratch.

I just got my photoshop cd from my co- worker today...

The only reason why this was discussed in the first place was the logo you posted is not the orginal logo we decided on.

The bridge was suppose to be more grayscale and the wording stood out moret..and I know you tweaked it, but still..

I will tweak it sometime this weekend..I should have it too you all my monday..

Sorry I havent got back to you guys, I've been up in Napa Valley...
as far as the colors thats an easy change, font as well. You guys are trying to make photoshop files for print, that will not work you need EPS (illustrator) files (which I gave you guys) By tonight i will have the "final logos" i made ,and color corrections if needed.
