Fourth Annual
Monterey/Pebble Beach Z/G & Friends Meet & RUN: October 4, 2008

Hi Everyone,

Come out and enjoy the fun ride, lunch, and chance to meet other sports enthusiasts. It will be a great time to remember. And remember it’s free, except paying for your own lunch, which will be a First Class Buffet Style Lunch on Pebble Beach.

Itinerary:

10:00AM: Meet at: "MY NISSAN" 222 Auto Center Circle Salinas, CA 93907

11:30PM: Depart (1 1/2 hrs approx.)

1:15PM: #10 Bird Rock View/Pictures

1:45PM: Poppy Hill Restaurant, Pebble Beach

Notes:
A: Entrance to Pebble Beach and the 17 Mile Drive is $9.75, but will be included in the meal price, which also includes the tax, tip, all inclusive.

B: Lunch at "Poppy Hill” on Pebble Beach has been reserved. Has
beautiful view of the golf course. Planned “Buffet” with price to be announced shortly. Will be a little more than last year. Please carry some cash with you. Will collect for meal at “MY NISSAN” Salinas, when registering for the raffle(s) sponsored by ‘ZONC” and ZCarGARAGE. You will receive 1 free Raffle Ticket when signing in. May purchase additional raffle tickets at time of sign in also for more chances to win.

C: If you have two way radios’, bring them, we'll be using channel 9.

Please make notation for lunch at “Poppy Hill” next to your name. We need to give count to restaurant ahead of time, as we are reserving a private area. “Poppy Hill" is located on Pebble Beach.


RUN (10:00AM-1:30PM):

* MY NISSAN to Hwy 68
* Hwy 68 to G20 (Left on to Laureles Grade)
* G20 to G16 (Right on to Carmel Valley Road)
* G16 to Hwy 1 North (Right)
* Hwy 1 to Gate to Pebble Beach "17 Mile Road"

Note: Enter through Gate (Fee waived with your “Poppy Hill” Meal ticket.

* Stop at #10 Bird Rock (View/Picture Op) (Left turn)
* Depart (Left Turn)
* Stop Poppy Hill (Lunch)

MENU

Buffet Style with information to be forthcoming. This is a first class buffet on Pebble Beach. Please purchase your meal tickets soon as possible so we can start the fun run.

ZONC and ZcarGarage Sponsored Raffle: Free Dynos and many other gifts in the raffle. Free raffle ticket with meal and may purchase more tickets also.

Enjoy the Scenic Route through the mountains, Carmel Valley, and Pebble Beach "17 Mile Drive" on Pebble Beach with lots of time for pictures, and conversation. This will be an experience to remember for everybody and a chance to meet other Z / G and friends of different sports cars owners.

How are you? I trust that the Misses and you are doing well.

Thanks for extending this event to the NorCal G community again. Since you are the organizer, I deleted the other 2 threads about the same.

I think you will get a good turn out from this community. The youngsters are going to a car show that day. However, there are plenty of other members, whom I believe would like to attend this wonderful event.

If so desired, I will sticky this thread, if you would like to manage it.

 

I went last year and was amazed to see how many G/Zs came out for this scenic drive. Had a pretty good time especially since it was my 1st time in that part of Cali.

 

Hmmmm, same day as the JDM Theory show in San Jose. Dont think a few of us wont make this run.

Thanks, and we're doing pretty good here. Please "sticky", and thanks again. Z's and G's are brothers as I see it. I have done a few things to my car since we were last together. Also have several sponsors this years to give away goodies that will go with both. I hope a group can come to the run. It's getting better as time goes, more to give away, etc. WE need to get together again, been a long time.

 

Sounds like its gonna be a great time. Im interested in going if Im available.
