Hey Everyone.. Ladies & Gentlemen,


A discussion has brought up this issue. Should the name Golden Gate G35 see the light of day? or should we look on the bigger side of the story? Changing it to something like:

1) Norcal G35 Owners
2) Norcal G Club
3) NCA G Club
4) NCGOA (being close to the Socal club "SCGOA")
5) NCA Skylines
6) NCA V35
7) NCG Club

Something along those lines, nothing is the exact suggestion. The question is, would it be more welcoming to have a name that encapsulates the entire Northern California versus only a name " Golden Gate G35's " that means only a small group in the bay area of Norcal.

I personally think it should be bigger. That's what a club is all about right? Suggestions? Opinions? or plain bored and want everyone to hear your voice!!... Speak up.. its the time to debate!!..

NCGOA looks good Or if you don't want to seem fragmented into North an south How about ACGOA All California G Owners Association Or WCGOA West Coast well you get the hint

Thats another issue, because CA is so big, i think thats why theres a Socal Norcal division. As I was discussing this issue earlier, the Golden Gate G35 seems so TINY. I mean if we are planning to have a club up here mine as well do a complete Norcal one. Right now it would seem as if you said.. "Hollywood G35's" wouldnt that be even more fragmented rite? Just wanna hear everyones thoughts. Whether you are in Ncal or Scal.

I borught this item up in PM to the commission on the club name and was told they did not want to seem like they were claiming all of N.Cal. Maybe the issue is open again but i was shot down when I brought it up. I am not really a fan of SF any way so it does seem a bit inclusive to me,as though we are all from SF. We could have one for each city and then nothing will get done faster[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] Jesting as side, we might need to reevaluate the name but...some folks spent time and effort and I would not want them to feel walked on.

Well, you guys can rep all of the N.Cali. I really don't see why not. I mean the guys can join ur G club if they feel like they want to. Its not like they have other G clubs up north. I say just do the N cali name and rep all of N cali and be done with it!

Our name should definetly be different than so cal..otherwise they might say we are a part of so cal..which we aren't yet..so we should have our own..

Good point we should be different but not so geographically specific. The "skylines" refernce was nice and different from the So Cal folks.
