When the lights first became available, they were selling for ALOT of money. $900+. Then there was the recall. The price then dropped to $400-$600. Eventually, it hit $200-$300. However, this forum has banned the sale of 06+ projector lights as many of the ones sold were recalled. Now the only option on here is to buy brand new legit lights from dealers like Riverside. That explains the price increase.

'06 Projector Headlights....?

Yea, there was a guy CLAIMING to have removed them from his car but he
sold a bunch on ebay and tried to sell them here for $300. Ask one of our
members that installed these '06 headlights, her car burned down....total
loss! I'd pay the higher price just for piece of mind....but that's me! Cheap
just might bite you in the azz....

WHat would be the ave price for some good 6000k bulbs? Would I be better off getting all the bulbs separate? I would most likely swap out the stock ones anyways.

I thought the only issue with the recalled lights was that the aim was too high. Never heard anything about them being a fire hazard.

Troy... stick with brands like Philips. The Philips 6000K Ultinons are about $180 or so on ebay.

If you want to still have oem-like brightness, yet a cooler white color, do what me and Jenn did and go for Philips 5000K. Expect to pay around $200 or so, but well worth it.

As for color-modded projectors, you will get alot of that purple/blue hues but your lights will still be stock color.

The "answer" is that the cutoff of the projector (I believe drivers side head light) is aimed incorrectly and is blinding to on-coming drivers. I believe that the projector lens rotation is off and therefore, there is a crooked cutoff.

If you are in the market for 06+ projectors, it is better to get brand new ones. Most of the recalled ones are not in great shape as the lenses have pits and what not. Going new, you get crystal clear, defect-free lenses and lights.

If you plan to do a projector lens swap, purchasing recalled lights is not a problem as when you replace the projector lenses, you can correct the rotation of the lens. Thats what I did the first time around with my TSX lenses. Now I am running 07 projectors from Riverside Infiniti.
