I was just reading about them! Thanks, Mike! Now I just need to make sure I get a lens that fits my needs.

I took four shots, one of the interior of the door, one of the windshield, one of nothing but sky, and that one.
Here's one more. I took a shot of the toy but came out very bad so I decided to mess with it. Black and white worked, the drawing in the lightsabers would have if I would have taken my time on them. Oh well, fun nonetheless.

hey mr. fusion,
how do your colors come out so rich and vibrant? is it the filter you are using? or the editing?
also, for the flics with lights... are you using the diffuser filter to star the lights?
awesome flics bro.

I've performed Curve and Level adjustments to all the landscape/sky photographs I've posted in this thread to get those colors to looks so vivid. I'm sure with a very nice camera and some color filters you could do something similar but I'm just not there yet. Once I learn more I'll rely less on Photoshop to help me "fix" my shots.
I am using a polarizer filter for the day shots and I never took off my UV filter on these last few night shots I posted. It's funny though, I got the star effect by just using longer exposures; no stars in a one second exposure, stars in a ten second one. I kind of want to get a filter for that star effect so I don't have to keep taking long exposures.
Thanks, ucg35.
