is there a gap between the grill and the hood? or is that an optical illusion? i love that grill thats why im asking if i will need to know about fixing the gap if i get one

thanks Rudy. I hear you on 1.4 or 1.2.. I just got a 50mm with 1.8 as well and SB-600. Would love to get 1.4 but they cost much more. Im having fun with 1.8 though, so all good for now

Fast lenses are great for low light shooting. You need to have one in your bag especially when the price of the 1.8 is so low.
