When planning the runs of previous years, I always had 3 things to consider . . . Ensure that:

1. Everyone has a good time.
2. Everyone arrives at the destination in a safe and timely manner.
3. The "Eyes" of the local law enforcement would not be trained upon the group, as a whole, due to the inappropriate antics of a few.

Personally, as a run/meet organizer, I felt a personal responsibility to all of the participants . . . And as such, if I could not ensure the above 3 conditions without any exception(s), I would have never considered organizing any driving event.

as long as there are no speeding, no driving like an idiot (weaving in out of lanes) and no display of racing.. just good clean fun

unfortunatly you can never guarantee that...
theres always going to be someone who ruins it for the group...
no matter how well planned and organized it is

andy, ive felt that you have always done a good job organizing these runs.....and you cant help what other people do, they just do it to be retarded i think....trying to show off. Then you have to be the bad guy and tell them that their actions may get everyone in trouble and some of these runs have turned out to be a decent amount of cars....too easy for the cops to give out tickets....
