So I weighed my car

Without me in it, my 04 G35 Coupe fully loaded registered at 3580 lbs. I think its about right, considering I have JL amps, 4080 box, pretty heavy child seat, and full tank. I think I can shed about 100 lbs if I remove them and all my junks from the trunk. My friend with 350z registers 3250lbs without passenger and Audi A3 registered at 3400 lbs.

For those of you interested in weighing your cars, there is a really nice place in Santa Clara where you can just drive through and weigh your car for free! Its on robert (cross road is De La Cruz). Enjoy

Sorry I mistype the weight it should be 3580 not 2580 Fixed the typo above.
So assuming that you weigh 180 lbs then your car weigh 3525? Mine clocks in at 3580. I have volks wheels and bodykits so I dont know if they reduce/add the weight somewhat.

Dofu, it does not cost anything. Just drive to the ramp and look at the digital meter on your right hand side Its empty too so u can experiment with taking your spare tire off, etc

^ Was that with you sitting in the car? I weighted the car by itself and it was registering 3580.

that was on the dyno with no one in the car..you might be missing something under the carriage of the car unless u have some light weight parts exhaust etc.

hmm not sure then. My friend's A3 and 350z weight seems to be spot on. I guess we'll see if other people are getting accurate readings from that place or not.

David, it can be very hard to find since it barely resembles a weighing station. Below is the Google map street view:

The scale is on the right side and the building on the left is where you can see what your car weigh. The scale is practically like a side street. You just need to turn left on roberts from de la cruz and keep going as indicated on the map. Hope you can find it after this
