Service question about Frontier Infiniti

just wanted to see if i got taken...for my 22,500 maintenance the service guy recommends the brake fluid and power steering service BEFORE he even inspects them. i inquire about why infiniti manufacturer doesn't recommend it at this time. he then pulls out a laminated sheet of paper that "Frontier Infiniti" recommends at 22,5 including also an engine decarbon and a/c odor service. i told him no initially but then he calls back and tells me that the mechanic looked at the bf and ps fluid and they were "dark/dirty" and needed to be replaced ASAP. i went ahead and had it done for an extra 200 bucks for parts and service. The guy at Infiniti PLEASANTON i took my g to for the 30,000 mi shook his head in disbelief that frontier would do it at 22,5. i suppose he could have had that reaction so that i wouldn't ever go back to frontier.

i should be really more knowledgeable about how to inspect these myself i know...but until then, was curious if i should just stick to the infiniti schedule always, or trust these guys at frontier?

tia

stick to the schedule, 22.5k is early for brake/power steering unless you had some really rough usage of the car
