Getting my CF hood pretty soon and I'm wondering if anyone can or knows a good place to get these Aerocatch hood-pins installed. Rather get these done by someone who done this before and has some prior experience...

Called Midnight Performance and almost fell off my chair. Not only do they not recommend hoodpins ("theres no point... you don't need them"), but said they'd charge $200... and if the clearcoat cracks, it's on me.

Actually in the Yolo area, so yeah... Much appreciated.

Run FAR FAR away from any shop that tells you hood pins aren't needed.

 

^ yeah. thats why I had in mind. BTW, Jim. cf hood's supposed to be arriving tomorrow. Seeing how your a dealer and stuffs, do you know anyplace in Cali that can do a clean install? (Hopefully more up North from where you're at)

 

I only know of local shops who would be able to help you out. Let me know if your willing to take the drive.
