Beshoff Infiniti, San Jose
To be honest, the longer I've known a customer is the more I'm willing to invest time and resourced to make sure they are not just satisfied, but genuinely pumped.
Sometimes the dealership needs to step up, and we look for opportunities to do just that… But it sound like for that kinda' money the BMW shop probably must have done serious disassembly / diagnostic work.
haha + the extra 3minutes for slowing down to speed limit in east side.... LOL. btw i almost went into bambu yesterday when i went to Goldilocks yummm lumpia haha... i got lazy and didnt wanna walk
how is that mean its like WAYYYY over there compared to Goldilocks haha.. and did u see how crowded the parking lot was at like 1-2ish. so crazy i wanted to get the hell outta there lol.
"Knocking" sounds dont sound good. Have Bernardo take a look at this... hopefully the values arent knocking the piston... thats a very bad sign. It might do it intermit Because one of them might be out of alignment.. does it knock when you jam on the gas petal and at high rpm?

If I understand, other shops have looked at this before and not been successful in diagnosing it. With than snipet, I imagine its not a simple problem. As such, it is unlikely that to be diagnosed via text, but you never know, anything is possible I suppose.

IMHO your best course of ation is to try to identify what the common factors are when the symptom is active and keep a log. (i.e. ambient temp, engine temp, RPM, vehicle speed, throttle position, frequency, etc.) It shouldnt take long to see a pattern of when it is most likely to reoccur, then we have our best possibility to duplicate the condition and diagnose the condition. FTR- I have run service shops for 15 years and worked in then for 25. I have almost never seen success with audio/visual recording for diagnostic purposes. But I learn something new every day.
Call me tomorrow. I will be happy to talk in more detail.
